I was at the movies this week, watching a preview for an upcoming film. You know when sometimes they seem to show so many “good bits” you feel as if you have seen most of the movie already? My sister made the comment - “We may as well not go and see that one - we’ve pretty much seen it all already!”. I replied “Yes, but we haven’t felt it”.

I am some what angry as I write this article today. My father had recently hesard about a telephone helpline which is run by the British Stammering Association here in the UK. He was interested to see what advice they were giving to people who stammer and their families as I had had to endure life with a stammering problem for eighteen years.
