Lets talk about innovation. The word itself defines new ideas, “out of the box” thinking, a fresh perspective, or a novel method of approaching a problem or task. Due to comfort zones, fear, or lack of knowledge, processes and ideologies remain the same for a great length of time. In order for us to be innovative, we should always be looking for the next best thing and remain progressive.Innovation moves stagnation from its position on the couch, bundles it up and places it high on a shelf or in the very back of the closet. It jolts the energy in an existing plan or idea and gives birth to new offspring. Innovation can become one of the best tools or asset to own. Plus, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it has to be a brand new concept. The originality can derive from tweaking a current technique and improving on it. The key to innovation is that it stirs the mind and launches us into unchartered territory and onward towards a new direction. And often, it’s the unknown or unfamiliar that drives us to forsake our fears and keeps us in motion.
